Designed by Mark Gabbertas, the Twist Dining Chair combines an aluminium frame with a double-sided acrylic rope backrest. The rope is hand-woven onto the frame, creating a flexible backrest and allowing air to circulate whilst the chair is in use.
The aluminium frame is welded, polished and finished with electrostatic powder coating, which helps to protect it from corrosion. The rope has a water-repellent treatment and is resistant to sun exposure, chlorine and salt water, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor environments.
The seat includes a slim-profile cushion with QuickDry foam, designed to facilitate water drainage and reduce moisture retention. The combination of the rope’s tension and the upholstered seat provides support without adding excessive bulk to the chair.
Available in various combinations of frame, rope and fabric, the Twist has been designed to complement dining tables on terraces, in gardens and in hospitality projects, and can be coordinated with the other pieces in the collection.

Structure: Lightweight aluminum alloy tubes with welded and polished joints, finished with electrostatic powder coating. The structure is designed to be slender, yet extremely rigid.
Double-Sided Hybrid Rope: State-of-the-art acrylic fabric with a flattened shape (profile between rope and handle). It is hand-interwoven on both sides of the metal frame.
Ergonomic Comfort: The tension of the double-sided rope acts as a flexible support that adapts to the back, allowing constant ventilation — ideal for meals in hot climates.
Chemical and UV Resistance: Acrylic fiber with hydrophobic treatment and high lightfastness (grade 7/8), resistant to chlorine and salt water.
Slim Upholstery: Seat equipped with a reduced-thickness QuickDry foam cushion, ensuring that water does not get trapped inside.
