The Pleat 2 Piece Pasta Plate Set is characterised by its wide rim with a fluted surface and its deep centre, which holds the food in place and makes it easier to serve dishes with sauce.
Made from stoneware, the plates combine a matt exterior with a glossy, glazed interior. The contrast between the two finishes highlights the relief of the rim and adds texture to the table setting.
Measuring 26 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height, they are suitable for serving pasta, risottos, mixed salads, thick soups and other dishes that benefit from a deeper centre. The wide rim also makes it easier to carry and position the plate at the table.
The greyish-brown hue allows the set to be paired with tableware in neutral tones, glassware and table accessories in wood or metal. The plates can be used individually or coordinated with other pieces from the Pleat collection.
