The Tatara Pack of 100 Razor Blades has been designed to provide a precise and even shave, combining a meticulous sharpening process with a smooth glide over the skin. It is a suitable choice for anyone who regularly uses a double-edged razor and wishes to keep a well-organised supply for frequent replacements.
Each blade is made from Swedish stainless steel and features a platinum coating. This coating helps to reduce friction as the blade glides over the skin, contributing to gentler contact with the skin and a more comfortable shaving experience.
The blades feature two cutting edges and are compatible with safety razors that use the standard double-edge format. They can also be used in shavettes designed to accommodate a half Double Edge blade, although you should check the compatibility of the specific model beforehand.
The pack comes in vertical packaging, known as ‘Pillar’, comprising 20 individual boxes. Each box contains five blades, making a total of 100 blades and keeping them protected and organised between uses.
The lifespan of each blade depends on hair thickness, the shaving technique used and the frequency of shaving. As a guide, Tatara recommends replacing the blade after approximately five to eight uses, or sooner if the blade starts to pull at the hair, loses its effectiveness or causes increased skin discomfort.
