Designed by Mark Gabbertas, the Twist 2 Seater Sofa combines an aluminium frame with a rope weave that defines the backrest and armrests. The weave allows light and air to pass through, reducing the piece’s visual weight and creating a close connection with the outdoor space.
The double-sided acrylic rope is stretched taut over the frame, providing support and helping to maintain its shape over time. The aluminium is given a powder-coated finish that protects the frame against corrosion.
The seat features quick-drying foam, whilst the backrest cushions provide more enveloping support. The materials have been selected to withstand exposure to sunlight, humidity and regular outdoor use.
Available in different combinations of frame, rope and fabric, the Twist Sofa is suitable for terraces, gardens and lounge areas, and can be coordinated with the other pieces in the collection.
